Introduction to Board Game Design. In this course, students will learn the process of designing a boardgame including ideation, paper prototyping, playtesting, feedback / revision and planning for fabrication. Course material will focus on integrating a game’s themes and mechanics as well as player feedback in order to rapidly prototype fun games. This course introduces various types of game design, and fosters key concepts related to design thinking and design learning.
