An advanced course on the physiological basis of mammary growth, milk secretion, and udder health. Topics covered includes mammary gland anatomy, hormonal control, causes and control of mastitis, milk harvesting, and milk quality.
2 undergraduate hours. 2 graduate hours. Prerequisite: ANSC 221 or a comparable Genetics course.
