This is a study abroad course in Vienna, Austria. It examines the role of Vienna-based international organizations in setting the rules of global governance and of regional governance in Europe. It begins on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and concludes on the campus of the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where students spend three weeks. In Vienna, the course combines classroom instruction with site visits to international, European Union and Austrian institutions.
