Field and laboratory techniques in plant disease diagnosis and appraisal; identification of diseases of small grains, turf, corn, soybeans, forage crops, vegetables, fruit, forest and shade trees, and ornamentals, both on field trips and in laboratory exercises. Includes fundamentals of disease management.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CPSC 212 or equivalent.
