Early Childhood Education Instructional Planning, Assessment & Learning Environments

Credit: 3 hours.

Examines grade/age specific learning standards and how standards are deconstructed to inform and develop measurable, substantive instructional objectives. Also focuses on planning for instruction and assessment, guidance and management, and effective use of the learning environment. Analysis of assessment data to inform instructional decisions will also be included.

3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. Prerequisite: For students in the Early Childhood Professional Education concentration.
