Provides hands-on observational experience: how to use a telescope, how to image sources using a modern CCD camera, how to use a modern CCD spectrometer, and how to apply data analysis to astrophysical problems.
2 undergraduate hours. 2 graduate hours. Prerequisite: One 400-level astronomy course.
