Section Title:
Generalized Linear Models
Section Info:
This course will introduce a wide range of generalized linear models (GLM). The course aims to provide students with a rich toolbox of traditional statistical methodologies to handle different types of finance and insurance datasets. Topics include Logistic regression, Log-linear model, Poisson regression, compound Poisson-gamma distribution, practical model building (using R/Python) and diagnostics methods, deviance and residual analysis in GLM, basic introduction for linear mixed models and generalized linear mixed models.
