Exhibit Design & Installation
Section Info:
This course focuses on exhibition design and curation in the larger context of libraries’ role as educators. Students will learn the nuts and bolts of curation, physical and online exhibitions, programming, and engagement in the remote and in-person modes of the post-COVID next normal. The course will offer practical instruction on the organization, planning, and research that go into any exhibit. Students will study and evaluate institutional exhibits, learn several different platforms for online exhibits, explore the field of exhibit/museum design work, and create a small exhibit.
