Climate101: Mitigation, Adaptation & (In)Justice This course will introduce students to some of the basic understanding and ongoing debates pertaining to Climate Change. This will cover the factors that shape-up present climate phenomenon, its responses and the questions of social (in)justice inherent to it. We will do this by engaging on this issue from diverse sociopolitical standpoints that includes gender, race and geopolitics. This will open questions on who can speak about climate change? Whose knowledge is considered. What kinds of future(s) are imagined and by whom? The course will entail engaging with relevant literature, case studies and classroom discussions.
