Evidence-Based Practice in Communication Sciences and Disorders

Credit: 3 hours.

This course is designed to examine how the field of Speech and Hearing Science creates knowledge or evidence to support the assessment and intervention for individuals with communication disorders. Students will gain an introductory understanding of clinical research methodology and become familiar with the process of selecting evidence-based practices.

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or consent of instructor.
