Section Info:
Topic: Writing Now for the Future - The Academic Catalog tells us that you’re supposed to write “research-based arguments of moderate complexity” for this course. Fair enough. Let’s put these arguments to good use in these strange days. We’ll work through a number of projects that are responsive to current conditions: another semester of mostly remote learning; constraints on mobility for the sake of public health; activism for justice on multiple fronts; and so on. At semester’s end, you will assemble a portfolio in a manner suitable for archiving. (I’m not invoking archiving casually here; we’ll explore and employ methods for preserving what you write this semester so that you—and, with your permission, others—can revisit our spectacular now sometime in the future.)
Restriction(s):
Restricted to Undergrad - Urbana-Champaign.
