Its goal is to develop strategies Illinois cities and states can adopt and use to overcome exclusionary zoning. Taught in coordination with seven other campuses across the U.S., the course will allow students at the University of Illinois to understand what Illinois does and doesn’t share with other parts of the U.S. The course will meet in person once a week, with asynchronous material required for the equivalent of a second class session. Graduate and advanced undergraduate students are all welcome. Restriction(s): Not intended for students with Freshman or Sophomore class standing.
