This course on vestibular assessment and rehabilitation covers the anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system, common vestibular disorders and other causes of dizziness, bedside examination of the dizzy patient, administration and interpretation of vestibular tests including videonystamography (VNG) and electronystagmography (ENG). It will also cover the role of audiologists and other health care professionals in the assessment and management of dizzy patients, and vestibular rehabilitation.
4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: Graduate student status or consent of instructor.
