Orientation Seminar: EdD Essentials This course is designed to orient online EdD students to the process of earning an Education doctorate. The goal of this course is to facilitate your development as critical scholars through rigorous investigation of education research; to develop an awareness of the process of earning a doctorate in Education at Illinois; to enhance foundational reading, writing, and research skills; and to raise an understanding of the roles and responsibilities you have as researching practitioners. This course will meet an elective requirement for any concentration.
