Advanced reporting projects or techniques, with separate sections for a varying array of topics such as investigative reporting, immersion journalism, literary journalism, business and financial journalism, online publishing, radio news features, sports writing, broadcast documentary production, digital journalism, and photo journalism.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or subsequent semesters if topics vary. Prerequisite: JOUR 210.

TV Prod: Good Morning Illini - On Air Perfomance Students who have successfully completed Jour 340 will learn advance skills to be on-air reporters for the Good Morning Illini show. Students will learn advance videography, editing and reporting skills. Class will also include on-camera/talent lab for Good Morning Illini's live broadcast on Friday's. Pre-requisites for this course are completion of Jour 340. May be taken concurrently with J445. This course meets with JOUR 199 (64995) and JOUR 460 (64206)
