Personal Financial Planning

SHOW FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE

Credit: 3 hours.

Examines principles of financial planning applied to individuals and households, with attention to organizing and analyzing financial information, budgeting, acquiring financial assets, managing credit, planning for taxes, investments, risk management, retirement, and estate planning.

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or consent of instructor.

Lemoine, C	Part of Term: B Date Range: 10/19/20-12/09/20 Section Info: Financial planning, investments, markets and personal finance are often steered by pivotal moments in time. This class will study how the upcoming election, with all the volatility and risk it brings, can change our financial world. We will also learn about aspects of personal finance that remain steady and constant. This course will meet over eight weeks and earn three credit hours. The class will have live/sychronous lectures twice a week on Monday and Wednesday at 2pm. Lectures are highly encouraged but optional, and will be archived. Students will be earning three credit hours over eight weeks and should be ready for a rigorous, applied and relevant work-load.
