Section Title:
Entrepreneurship Thru Acquistn
Section Info:
Entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) is the exciting career path to becoming an entrepreneur by buying and growing an existing small business. For individuals with business skills and a desire to make a meaningful impact, this path is significantly less risky than starting new businesses around unproven product or service ideas. Lectures and invited speakers (entrepreneurs and PE firms) will introduce ETA and cover how to search for, value, and finance an existing small business acquisition. Instructor Approval required to register; senior students will only be considered, with priority consideration given to Gies Business undergraduate students.
