This course is aimed at Chinese-speaking students majoring in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics who wish to gain practical experience working in the insurance industry in China. The purpose of this course is to develop professional competencies and experience in China's insurance industry. Students will develop multiple aspects of professional development including: critical thinking/problem solving, global/intercultural fluency, teamwork/collaboration, oral/written communications, professionalism/ work ethics, career planning and management.
