Throughout this course, students will learn the fundamentals of coding in Excel, MATLAB, and LaTeX in an attempt to reinforce good coding habits. In particular, students will learn data presentation and formatting along with proper commenting etiquette to assist in the preservation of information and logic in the inevitable hunt for bugs. By the end of this course, students should feel comfortable approaching a variety of coding challenges in the unique MATLAB syntax. Additionally, students will develop a library of their own custom functions that are coded in their unique styles for application in all four years of the Engineering Curriculum.
