Introduction to environmental and economic aspects of the occurrence and movement of groundwater through the earth's crust; topics include the hydrologic cycle, groundwater contamination, petroleum migration, formation of mineral resources, and groundwater chemistry.

Same as ESE 470. 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MATH 220 or MATH 221; senior standing is recommended; or consent of instructor.
