Section Info:
Planning and Implementing Clinical Trials Social interventions, ranging from both micro-level clinical practices to policy-level interventions, are omnipresent in Social Work. This course focuses on the fundamentals of planning and implementing clinical trials. Strong emphasis is placed on conceptualizing novel theory-based interventions, the ethical design of trials that test interventions’ efficacy and the relevance of interventions to disenfranchised populations.

Integrated BH & Primary Care
Section Info:
Required hybrid seminar for BHWELL scholars on the integration of behavioral health (IBH) and primary care. Participantswill learn IBH models, skills, and resources for implementation and interprofessional practice. This hybrid 2-credit seminar takes place during the second half of the spring semester, with synchronous online sessions every other Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00 PM and two face-to-face sessions on campus. Face to face time includes participation in a conference on the Opioid crisis at the I-Hotel on Friday, March 30th from 8:30-4:00 and class on Thursday, March 29th from 6:00-8:00 PM in Room 2019 at the School of Social Work. Course pre-requisites are SOCW 515 or 513; and SOCW 553 or permission of the instructor.
