Section Info:
Migration in the Mediterranean: The Role of NGOs The course focuses on the role of state institutions and NGOs as cultural mediators for migrants in and from the Mediterranean. This course will include a field experience in Pavia, Italy, May 25-June 9. During our time in Italy, we will meet with a number of NGOs and Italian state representatives to learn about how the migration emergency is managed from the perspective of cultural communication and mediation.
