Credit: 4 hours.
The course will provide students with important practical skills for handling genomic big data and analyzing the results of various types of high-throughput sequencing experiments. The focus will be on achieving proficiency in data management and processing based on popular file formats in genomic biology.
4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: STAT 100, MCB 250, CS 101, or equivalent. For students enrolled in the M.Eng in Bioengineering program or with consent of the M.Eng. program.
