Design, application, analysis, and evalution of communication network protocols under both Linux and Windows NT operating systems. Emphasis on identifying problems, proposing alternative solutions, implementing prototypes using available network protocols and evaluating results. Multiple programming team projects.
Same as CS 436. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CS 438.
