Dance History

Introduction to major artistic movements in dance history from ancient Greece through the 20th century. Goal of the course is to gain a broad understanding of dance in relation to socio-political ideologies of gender, race, sexuality, and national identities.

Prerequisite: Major standing in Dance or consent of instructor.
