Section Info:
An MFA course looking at the craft of fiction writing through reading and discussion of published works. This semester, we will be reading recently published novels and comparing the writers’ approaches to style, character, structure, story, plot, pacing, and theme, and looking at how these elements are combined in each case. Responsibilities include completing reading assignments by the due date, active participation in classroom discussion, one response paper per week, one presentation, and a final paper.
