Credit: 4 hours.

Intensive beginning Spanish, equivalent to the first two semesters, for students with little or no experience in Spanish or whose skills need refreshing. This is considered a second level course for purposes of fulfilling the University General Education Language requirement.

Prerequisite: None or assignment by placement exam. Students who have the equivalent of four or more years credit in Spanish at the secondary level will not receive credit for SPAN 122.
