Section Title:
College Choice for Military
Section Info:
College Choice for Military - Connected Populations. With the financial support of benefits like Tuition Assistance (TA) and the GI Bill, military-connected students (i.e. those on active duty, veterans, and Reserve & National Guard members) are positioned strongly to attain a postsecondary education. With so many college and university options to choose from, figuring out the best fit and return on investment can be overwhelming and requires a good bit of planning and self-inquiry. In order to maximize your benefits, college choice, and career prospects, and to minimize joining the ranks of over 42 million indebted students who carry loans, this course provides general college counseling strategies for military learners. A non-credit option (non-transcriptable) is also available, please visit http://testwoundedvetcenter.ahs.illinois.edu/online-counseling.aspx for more information.
Restriction(s):
Restricted to NDEG:Undergrad Nondeg-CE-UIUC.
