This course is only open to students accepted to attend the Alternative Spring Break immersive trip in Chicago's Tech Scene. The trip itself is March 20-24, 2017, and this required course meets February 24, March 3, March 10, and March 31. Applications for 2016 are accepted through November 30, 2016 at go.illinois.edu/ilink - search for title Alternative Spring Break; Search Employer: Pritzker Venture Capital. Must have a minimum of sophomore standing, an interest in entrepreneurship, and be an engineering major.

A course on the engineering process fostering the identification of needs and potential engineering solutions. This course will encapsulate the ideation and problem identification aspects of engineering senior design, and is anticipated to facilitate student innovation. Meets with ECE 398 PSC.
