Overview of common quantitative research methods and statistical analyses used in human development, family, and community research; covers sampling, data management, bivariate analyses, multivariate regression. Students frame a research question and use a common data set and statistical analysis software to prepare methods and results sections of a manuscript suitable for publication.

4 graduate hours. No professional credit. Prerequisite: HCD 590 or equivalent.
