Study of empirically supported treatments for common presenting concerns in counseling with emphasis on cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based behavioral approaches. Discussion and experiential study will be supplemented by videos and case examples. Emphasis will also be given to using treatments flexibly to address the goals of individual counseling clients. Primarily for counseling psychology graduate students, though other students in programs with a mental health focus may be admitted with the consent of the instructor if space is available.
