Continuation of CHIN 221. Emphasizes development of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar skills, with a concurrent emphasis on mastery of Pinyin phonetic orthography.

Credit is not given for both this course and CHIN 201or CHIN 202. Prerequisite: CHIN 221.

Prior knowledge of language requires a placement exam to be given. Call 244-1432 for date of exam and to register for the test.
