Intro to CubeSat Development
Section Info:
AE199 SAT is a introductory class for students interested in working with the university's CubeSat program. In this course you will acquire the skills necessary for working in various operations within the CubeSat lab. Classes are structured to be part lecture part lab, focusing on a different skill each week. In the first half of the course, students will be exposed to software and skills such as LabVIEW, STK, CREO, NX Thermal Simulations, Soldering/Electrical Design, technical writing and more! The latter half of the course will focus on actually working on a satellite subteam which will require an additional meeting once a week outside of class. Interested participants do no have to be in SatDev or affiliated with the CubeSat program to participate. New members are highly encouraged. In addition, the course is open to all grade levels but is targeted toward Freshmen and Sophomores.
