Principles of weed ecology and biology, and their application to weed management. Herbicides and their use in corn, soybeans and other agronomic crops. Specialized topics include weed management in reduced tillage, herbicide tolerant crops and management of problem weeds.

3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: CPSC 226 or consent of instructor.
