ADV 498
Fall 2017 Part of Term B
Oct 23-Dec 13
Credit: 3 hours.
This course is named after the founder of the Advertising Department, Charles H. Sandage (known as the "father of advertising education"). His vision of educating the future of the industry was grounded in theoretical and foundational courses emphasizing the "why of advertising" - not just the "how." In this course, students will integrate the concepts, experiences, and skills that have been learned in the curriculum with a service-learning project.
3 undergraduate hours. No graduate credit. Prerequisite: ADV 283, ADV 390 and ADV 460 or consent of instructor.
