International experience in agricultural, consumer and environmental sciences related areas involving foreign travel and study without enrollment in another institution. Experience must be planned and approved in advance through consultation with a College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences faculty member.

Additional fees may apply. See Class Schedule. Approved for both letter and S/U grading. May be repeated to a maximum of 9 hours. Not open to students on probation. Prerequisite: Written consent of ACES Study Abroad Office.

Discovering Sys of Caribbean
Section Info:
This course is a second 8-week course and meets October 17th - December 7th as well as a mandatory field trip to the Dominican Republic over the winter break. Tentative dates are January 1-12, 2018. There is a program fee of $2,500 which includes roundtrip airfare from Chicago, lodging, on the ground transportation costs and most meals. Scholarships are available.
