Sampling: simple random, stratified, systematic, cluster, and multi-stage sampling. Categorical data: multiway contingency tables, maximum likelihood estimation, goodness-of-fit tests, model selection, logistic regression. Computer work is an integral part of the course.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: STAT 410.
