LAS 490 is an advanced leadership course that emphasizes the importance of service and sustainability as values in leadership and society. The students in this course are also serving as the student interns for the Spring 15 section of LAS 122 which is for students who have self-nominated into the LAS Honors Program. Interns will further enhance their teaching, mentoring, leadership and professional skills that will enable them to lead a section of LAS 122 and share their successful academic experiences with new LAS James Scholars. Interns will help their students develop the skills necessary to become community leaders and change agents. This course will meet in the LAS Honors Commons (room 2036 Lincoln Hall).
