Introduction to basic research methods in translation studies, including both traditional library research and innovative online research techniques for the MA in Translation and Interpretation. Also addresses ethical issues for translators and interpreters in different specializations, including legal, medical, diplomatic, and technical translation. Basic business practices and etiquette for translators and interpreters will be introduced.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Masters in Translation and Interpretation.
