This elective course provides students with a general overview of the day to day job requirements and responsibilities of variety of allied healthcare professionals and how they interact with other members of the healthcare team. Students will also learn about the wide variety of practice settings available along the continuum of care. Through the course, students will learn basic medical terminology, concepts and skills in preparation for internships and graduate school.
