Introduction of projects and project management processes, including how to schedule project tasks, assign resources to tasks, budget for project costs, and control project progress to meet organizational and project goals, with emphasis upon and examples drawn from medical imaging systems, biomedical diagnostics technology, and genomics technology. Techniques for process improvement and program management requiring multidisciplinary teams that must be aligned with strategic objectives of an organization.

Prerequisite: For students enrolled in the M.Eng Bioinstrumentation major.
