Explores theories of creativity; situates creativity and creative practices within the social structure of organizations that develop creative content; examines the relationship between creative strategy, creative concepts and creative executions; exposes students to the practice of creating content for traditional and non-traditional media vehicles.

Credit is not given for ADV 390 if credit for ADV 450 has been earned. Prerequisite: ADV 284.

Advertising majors will be given first priority.

Students who have completed ADV 450 should not register for ADV 390. While the number is different, the course content is the same. Registering for the new course would be seen as duplicate credit. Duplicate credit does not count toward graduation and students registering for the duplicate course will be asked to drop.

Restricted to Agr & Environmental Cmc & Educ or Advertising or Agricultural Communications major(s). Restricted to students with Junior or Senior class standing.
