Section Info:
Title: Security and privacy for media professionals. Journalists, advertising professionals, and documentarians need to protect their sources, media campaigns, and films from threats - both public and private entities of varying levels of sophistication. With recent revelations like the Edward Snowden leaks and news of industrial espionage from China, media professionals need to take appropriate steps to protect the information they gather and create. We will cover basic security and use hands-on activities to teach more advanced security and privacy techniques. Open to all majors.
