Section Info:
Field trip to Cyprus from March 19 to March 30, 2015. The class will explore the nature of the oceanic crust and uppermantle through field study of this classic example of an ophiolite. The trip assumes a background in geology and is intended primarily for geology majors and graduate students. Students will be responsible for their own meals. Prerequisites: At least one 400-level geology course, and permission of the instructor. 4hrs. Field trip fee required, $1150.
