Manufacturing methods for polymer-matrix composite materials; analysis of fiber processing techniques, interfacial treatments, and composites fabrication methods; analytical treatment of process modeling including heat transfer, cure kinetics, resin flow, and residual stresses. Term project.
Prerequisite: TAM 428.
