Cellular Biomechanics
Credit: 4 hours.
Mechanics of biological cells and tissues: cell structure; mechanics of biomembranes; the cytoskeleton and cortex; dynamic cell processes; cell motility and control of cell shape and proliferation; experimental approaches and theoretical models.
Same as BIOE 461. 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: TAM 251.
