This is a seminar course investigating the theory, principles, and practices of restorative justice, with an emphasis on Restorative Circles (RC), a restorative practice originally developed in Brazil. The course will have a strong applied component. Students are encouraged to practice/apply the work within their own social networks. Some students may be invited to observe and possibly even lead Circles in the community.
