Focuses on the study of cultural dimensions of interaction in an era of "globalization," in which people participate in multiple groups with fluid boundaries.

Section Info:
This course is designed to examine and practice the significant issues pertaining to the design and implementation of communication training and development in business settings. The purpose is to enhance your general: 1) knowledge of the role and practice of training and development in corporate environments, 2) understanding of training methods and management development activities, and 3) ability to design, develop, and evaluate effective training programs. This class is experiential and the philosophy behind the course is simple. Ultimately students are required to prepare a one-day training program suitable for a professional audience and presentation.
