Examination, analysis, and pathologies of building materials and techniques for treatment and repair of historic buildings. Emphasis is on conservation of traditional masonry, concrete, and metals. Field trips and lab work.
To receive 4 hours credit, students must participate in lab. Prerequisite: ARCH 419.
