Section Info:
This course explores the communicator's role in addressing controversial issues in agriculture and the environment. Students will study selected issues through the framework of conflict, risk, and crisis communication. The goal of the course is to prepare students to facilitate dialogue surrounding contentious issues and develop their capacity to lead collaborative problem solving efforts that address the needs of multiple stakeholders. First Year Discovery Program Course. Registration restricted to freshmen. Students should enroll in only one Discovery course.
